INGREDIENTS

ü  1 whole crab (about 1-2 pounds), cleaned and cut into pieces

ü  2 tablespoons vegetable oil

ü  4 cloves garlic, minced

ü  1 tablespoon of grated ginger

ü  2 tablespoons chilli paste

ü  1 tablespoon tomato sauce

ü  1 tablespoon soy sauce

ü  1 tablespoon sugar

ü  1/4 cup water

ü  Salt and pepper, to taste

ü  Scallions, chopped (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry until fragrant.

3. Add chilli paste, stir-fry for 1 minute.

4. Add crab pieces, stir-fry until coated with chilli paste.

5. Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Simmer for 5-7 minutes or until crab is cooked through.

6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

7. Garnish with chopped scallions (if using). Serve immediately.
